Everybody do this, do this, do this,
(leader demonstrates a body movement) Everybody do this, just like me (everyone copies it) Everybody do this, do this, do this, Everybody do this, just like me. Higgledy, piggeldy, bumblebee, Who can say their name for me? (Child says name) Let's all say it (name) Let's clap and say it (name) Let's whisper it (name) I have ten fingers and they all belong to me. I can make them do things, would you like to see? I can shut them up tight, or open them wide, I can put them together, or make them all hide, I can make them jump high, I can make them jump low, I can fold them up quietly, and hold them just so. Wiggle your fingers, waggle your fingers, Shake your fingers so, Stretch right out to touch a friend, And they’ll be glad to know – YOU!! Two little friends are better than one, (hold up 2 fingers on right hand, one on left) And three are better than two (three on left, and two on right) And four are much better still. (four on right hand) Just think! What four little friends can do! I have a loose tooth, a wiggly jiggly loose tooth I have a loose tooth A-hanging by a thread. So I pulled my loose tooth My wiggly jiggly loose tooth Put it beneath my pillow And then I went to bed. The fairy took my loose tooth My wiggly jiggly loose tooth And now I have a nickel And a hole inside my head. A tooth fell out and left a space so big my tongue can touch my FACE. And every time I smile, I show A space where some-thing used to grow. I miss my tooth, as you may guess, but then- I have to brush one less When I was one, I was very small. I was not very fat, I was not very tall. I had tiny feet and tiny toes, Tiny fingers and a tiny nose! A little bit bigger, each day I grew. I looked at me when I was two. I could jump, I could run, I could talk, and it was fun! I grew some more and now I'm three. I feel so big when I look at me. I have bigger feet and bigger toes, Bigger fingers and a bigger nose! A pair of eyes here on my face. A pair of eyebrows right in place. A pair of ears to hear a sound. A pair of legs to run around. A pair of shoulders strong and wide. A pair of hips, one on each side. A pair of ankles near my feet, A pair of hands all washed and neat. (Tune: Where is Thumbkin?) I am special, I am special, look at me and you’ll see Someone very special, very, very special, That is me. YES IT”S ME!! I wiggle my fingers I wiggle my toes I wiggle my shoulders, I wiggle my nose. Now the wiggles are out of me, And I’m just as still as I can be. Here are my fingers and here are my toes Here are my ears and here is my nose. Here are my eyes that open wide, Here is my mouth with my white teeth inside. Here is my tongue that helps me speak, Here are my shoulders and here are my cheeks Here are my hands that help me to play, And here are my feet that go walking each day. On my face I have a nose, And way down here I have ten toes. I have two eyes that I can blink. I have a head to help me think. I have a chin and very near, I have two ears to help me hear. I have a mouth with which to speak, And when I run I use my feet. I have two arms to hold up high, And here's a hand to wave GOODBYE! (Tune: 3 Blind Mice) All by myself, all by myself. See what I can do, see what I can do. I can brush my teeth and my hair so neat I can put my socks and shoes on my feet, I can get my napkin and my snack to eat, All by myself. (Tune: Tavern in the Town) Head and shoulders, knees and toes, Knees and toes, Head and shoulders, knees and toes, Knees and toes Eyes and ears, and mouth and nose Head and shoulders knees and toes. Ankles, elbows, feet and seat, feet and seat, Ankles, elbows, feet and seat, feet and seat, And hair and hips and chin and cheeks, Ankles, elbows, feet and seat, feet and seat. I looked inside my mirror To see what I could see. It looks like I'm happy today, Because that smiling face is me Eye Winker, (Point to eyes.) Tom Tinker, (Point to ears.) Nose Smeller, (Point to nose.) Mouth Eater, (Point to mouth.) Chin Chopper, (Tap chin.) Chin Chopper, Chin Chopper, Chin Chopper, Chin. Sung to: "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" Happy Birthday, it's your day, Hope it's great in every way. We will help you celebrate Because we think you're really great. Happy Birthday, It's your day, Hope it's great in every way. Sung to: "if you're happy and you know it" It's your birthday and you know it clap your hands (clap, clap) It's your birthday and you know it clap your hands (clap, clap) It's your birthday and you know it, and your smile surely shows it, It's your birthday and you know it clap your hands (clap, clap) Sung To: "Happy Birthday" Today's your Birthday were so glad We shall see how many you have had As we count your fingers we will see ______(name) is ___(yrs) old Big birthday cake (make circle with arms) Ice cream in a dish (cup hands) Here are the candles (wiggle hands on one hand) Now make a wish! (blow and make fingers into a fist) Today is a birthday! I wonder for whom? We know it is somebody Right in this room So look all around you For someone who Is smiling and laughing My goodness- it's you! A puppet in my pocket A puppet in my hat A puppet can do many things Now, what do you think of that? My puppet can say, "Yes, Ma'm" My puppet can say, "No!" My puppet says, "That's yummy" Or, "Sorry, I don't know." My puppet walks quite slowly And bows down very low My puppet slides and runs fast "Good-bye, it's time to go!" Sung to: "London Bridge" It's time to start a brand new year, Brand new year, brand new year, It's time to start a brand new year, Welcome new friends. We'll learn lots of brand new things, Brand new things, brand new things, We'll learn lots of brand new things Let's get started now. Sung to: "It's raining, it's pouring" I'm smelling, I'm smelling, my nose is busy smelling. This is the song I like to sing, When I smell most anything! (Tune: Sing a Song of Sixpence) Sing a song of sunshine Be happy every day Sing a song of sunshine You'll chase the clouds away Be happy every moment No matter what you do Just sing and sing and sing and sing And let the sunshine through! Sung to: Row, Row, Row Your Boat" Wash, wash, wash your hands Play our handy game. Rub and scrub, and scrub and rub. Germs go down the drain. HEY! Wash, wash, wash your hands Play our handy game. Rub and scrub, and scrub and rub. Dirt goes down the drain. HEY! This is the way you bat the ball, Bat the ball, bat the ball, This is the way you bat the ball When you play baseball. ...catch the ball.. ...throw the ball... ...run the bases This is my right hand I'll raise it up high This is my left hand I'll touch the sky Right hand, left hand, Roll them around Left hand, right hand, Pound, Pound, Pound. I can make a big balloon Watch me while I blow Small at first, then bigger, Watch it grow and grow and grow. Do you think you think it is big enough? Maybe I should stop. For if I blow much longer, My balloon will surely pop! Bend and stretch up so high, Stand on tiptoe, touch the sky Bend and stretch and see me grow, I'm so tall from head to toe! |
