winter dress-up paper dolls

Well, not really paper dolls, as such, but just as fun. (I must admit I do have a collection of paper dolls).  Here's a free set of a boy and a girl ready to dress up for winter.  Preschoolers will need help with the cutting, but they will do fine with a glue stick.

If you would like to take the winter clothes concept a step further, I just finished a resource that includes dress-ups, but much more.  Here's what's in it:

• Dress for winter center – Print characters and clothes (several pages) on cardstock. Teacher cuts out the clothes, and the children practice “dressing” the characters, mixing and matching the clothes as they please, or following teacher directions.
• Individual cut and paste – Let each child choose one or more characters to dress, and offer choices of clothes to cut out and paste.
• Categorize clothes by color center – Offer the color sorting mats, and a selection of clothes to sort by color.
• Categorize clothes by type center - Offer the clothes type sorting mats, and a selection of clothes to sort by type.
• Word/picture strips for vocabulary, and word recognition
• Labeled large manipulatives for making recognition and memory and matching games.
