This Frogs theme activity pack is developmentally appropriate for preschool and pre-K children and for pre-readers, and would work well in a study of amphibians and reptiles, or a rainforest, or a pond animals curriculum plan.

Besides the activities, songs, stories and games listed for the day, this pack includes these centers and printables:
• 2 photos of different types of frogs.
• Frog life cycle flashcards (8 cards in color)
• Frog life cycle - 4 sequence cards cut and paste
• Frog life cycle cut and paste – circular version, 5 stages.
• Decorate green frog hat and wear it during discovery time. Green headband with spots, with two big round eyes at the top. Can print on green construction paper.
• Rainforest tree frog order by size.
• Make a directed frog paper bag puppet.
• Lotto “match the frogs” activity. 9 realistic frogs.
• Feed the alphabet letter flies into the frog’s mouth. This can be a center, or a small group activity.
• Center - Girl with frog, and frog number cards 0-10 – match sets of frogs with the numbers.
• 6 piece puzzle – print 2 copies, cut up one and match to the other.
• Label the frog cut and paste – 6 labels
• Fine motor activity - trace the froggy hops across the page.
• Fine motor activity – bingo dauber (or dab with finger) each circle on the large frog.
