Mexican Hat Dance – place sombrero (or any hat) on the floor; children gather round, hands on hips, jump from one foot to the other. Find the tune for the dance on U-tube or similar.
We jump, and jump and jump,
And dance around the hat,
We jump, and jump, and jump,
And spin around like that!
Join hands in a circle, dance around the hat, singing la la la la etc.
