- In a small group, show the animal and food cards, and talk about them. Explain the terms herbivore and carnivore.
- Center - match each animal with the food that it eats.
- Center – sort animals onto a “plant or meat eater” mat.
- Worksheet – child draws a line from each animal (8) to the food it eats.
