14 fun interactive shape booklets to make, one for each shape all in b/w. The shapes featured are: triangle, circle, square, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, oval, crescent, star, rhombus, trapezoid, heart and diamond.
The complete 4 page booklet for each shape fits on one page. Teachers can prepare the booklets for preschool and pre-K, and older children can cut out and staple their own. Great for Shape of the Week projects, morning activities, and early finishers.
• Page 1, the top page of the book – “My Triangle Book”, with a child holding the shape to decorate.
• Page 2 – “I can find triangles”, with a 5 by 4 array of various shapes to choose from. Children can indicate the found shapes by circling, stamping or coloring.
• Page 3 – “I can trace triangles”, with 2 large shapes to rainbow trace, and the dotted shape name to trace, within lines.
• Page 4, the last-but-not-least page at the bottom, says: ”I can color the triangle pictures”.
How to put the booklets together: Cut around the heavy lines on the page to create 4 pieces/pages. Place them one on top of the other, with the longest on the bottom, and the shortest on top. Staple the book together on the indicated staple marks.
