Alphabet Mazes - Community Helpers and Their Vehicles
This is a set of community vehiclesactivity pages to practice upper case letter recognition, and/or tracing letters, for young children. The form of a maze is used.
27 pages plus cover and instructions
• The child points to the large letter at the top of the page, and says its name.
• Show the top arrow, and explain how to find all the featured letters in the maze. .
• The child can find all the letters first, and cover each with a bingo marker (or a light crayon), and THEN trace the path to the bottom arrow. Or the child can trace the path of the letters with a finger and cover each letter as the path progresses. Or trace each letter on the path.
• Color the pictures, if desired.
The pages can be laminated and used in a center with wipe-off markers, or can be used once by one child. Some earlier experience with letter recognition is necessary to be able to complete these printables successfully, and without frustration.
