These character dolls can be used in many different ways. The faces are blank so the children can create them; decorate the clothes, make any ethnicity, some can be boys or girls. They can be printed on cardstock, taped to a pop stick and used as a puppet. Teachers can use for introducing a topic or lesson. Children can use for storytelling, create names and personalities. They can talk about things the character might use, or activities they like to do, and draw them on the page. Teacher can write child's words. Use for counting, making sets, naming parts of body, types of clothing. There is a guideline around each for cutting - a set without the guidelines is available in the Resource Room.
